Here is an informative video from Ofqual – Grading in 2020 – information for students – that explains the grading system put in place due to the COVID19 pandemic.
Results days in 2020 will be:
- A-Level – Thursday 13th August
- GCSE – Thursday 20th August
Due to the current government Covid-19 guidelines, exam results will be distributed remotely this year. JCQ stipulates results must be sent on the secure school server and can only be sent directly to individual students. Students will therefore receive their final grades directly via their HBHS email account at 8am on results days.
Senior staff will be available on both results days to help all students and their parents/carers as they navigate through their next stages and future pathways. This will be via an appointment system either by phone or via video conference. Details of how to book an appointment will be sent with student results.
Students should read the ‘Student guide.pdf’ and ‘Summer-2020-Results-and-Appeals-process.pdf’ documents.
The rest of the Exam information below was issued before the pandemic.
