Who can join youth club and do I need to join?
Any young person who is interested in coming to youth club is welcome at all our clubs! You don’t have to live in the area to come to the youth club!
If you would like to join just come along to one of our sessions and meet the youth workers.
You could also visit the youth team in school in the community office in the online centre and speak to Julie, Sarah or Jim.
What happens at youth club?
Every youth club is different and the activities at youth club vary depending on what young people would like to do.
As an example for 2010, from January, a new 10 weeks youth programme starts around being healthy and all of the youth clubs are going to be doing a range of activities including Wii fitness nights, food tasting sessions, cooking sessions, quizzes and games, and much more…..
Most youth clubs have TV’s, Internet access and games so young people can come to youth club to meet their friends in the warm, or chill out and chat to youth workers.
