Haydon Bridge Community High School values the thoughts, opinions and feelings of all its pupils. The Haydon Bridge Physical Education (PE) Department would like to take a proactive and positive approach to listening to pupils' concerns and ideas specifically relating to Physical Education and School Sport. As a result of this an exciting new project is about to commence - this is the Sports Council.

The Sports Council will comprise of a representative panel of students. Four students (two male and two female students from years 9, 10 & 11) will be elected by each year group. Two Sixth Form students, Sarah Graham and Richard Walton, are Sporting Ambassadors who will spearhead the panel. The Sports Council will provide an opportunity for a 'student voice' to deal with issues specifically relating to PE and School Sport and even voice whole School issues if necessary - after all this is your School and your voice matters!
