Promoting Healthy Lifestyles

Northumberland Extended Services, as part of its commitment to narrowing the inequalities gap, have commissioned Lets Get Healthy UK to work with each of the 15 school partnerships at either first or middle school age.

 
‘Lets Get Healthy’ is a national organisation, who has worked throughout the UK, encouraging all members of the community to become sustainably active.   Their 'Jump on Board' programme, developed in partnership with Leeds Metropolitan University, has received excellent feedback and produced positive results. It lasts for six weeks and will run as an 'after school club' for targeted youngsters- developing lifeskills, positive thinking, healthy eating and physical activity.
